Q: How
do I turn the charging function on/off on the Innocell Plus case?
A: When
your Galaxy S III is in the Innocase Plus case containing the battery and the case
is not plugged into a power source (microUSB to USB, or microUSB to AC
adapter), you can charge your Galaxy S III using the Innocell Plus battery by
pressing the power button located on the bottom right corner of the Innocell
Plus case for 2-3 seconds until your Galaxy S III detects the charging.
Once the Innocell Plus case has charged your Galaxy S III to 100%, the charging will
automatically stop. However, if you would like to stop the Innocell Plus case
from charging your device before the Galaxy S III battery reaches 100%, press the
power button again for 2-3 seconds until your device detects that the charging
has stopped.
Q: How
is the Innocell Plus bumper removed from the Innocell Plus body?
A: On
the bottom side of the Innocell Plus case, between the two speaker holes, there
is a thin rectangular slot/gap. Gently use your nails to gradually pry open the
gap between the bumper and Innocell Plus body. If widening the middle gap does
not successfully detach the bumper, then continue increasing the gap towards a
speaker hole on either side to disengage the side tabs.
Should the
above instructions prove ineffective, then try gripping and pulling on the
speaker holes to pry the bumper away from the Innocell Plus body.
Q: What
do blinking and fully lit charging lights on the Innocell Plus case indicate?
A: There
are a total of 4 lights toward the bottom of the Innocell Plus case. When the
case is not plugged to a power source and the power button is pressed, the
number of lights that turn on indicates how full the Innocell Plus battery
inside the case is:
1 light
on indicates ~25% charged*
2 lights
on indicate ~50% charged
3 lights
on indicate ~75% charged
4 lights
on indicate ~100% charged
*Please
note: the only condition in which no light will turn on after the power button
has been pressed, is when the Innocell Plus battery is completely drained.
When the
case is connected to a power source, the number of lights that are on and not
blinking indicates the levels of battery completely full, and the blinking
light indicates an incompletely filled level.
1
blinking light indicates 0-24% charged
1 light
on (non-blinking) + 1 blinking light indicates ~25% charged
2 lights
on (non-blinking) +1 blinking light indicates ~50% charged
3 lights
on (non-blinking) + 1 blinking light indicates ~75% charged
4 lights
on (non-blinking) indicates ~100% charged (This is only
possible when case is not connected to Galaxy S III)
Q: In
what order will charging take place when the Innocell Plus case is connected to
a power source?
A: When
the Innocell Plus case containing the battery and your Galaxy S III are connected to
a power source, the case is designed to automatically charge your Galaxy S III to
full capacity first and then start charging the Innocell Plus battery. Pressing
the power button will not affect the flow of charge from a power source.
Q: How
can I achieve optimal efficiency from my Innocell Plus battery?
A: To
achieve optimal efficiency from your Innocell Plus battery, start charging your
Galaxy S III with the Innocell Plus case when the Galaxy S III battery level is around 60%.
The lower the Galaxy S III battery level (less than 60%) at the start of charging,
the lower the operating efficiency of the Innocell Plus battery.
Q: How do
I condition my Innocell Plus battery?
A: Prior
to using your new Innocell Plus battery, allow 8 hours for initial charge time.
Performance will increase after 5-6 full charges. In order to obtain full
capacity of the Innocell Plus battery, it’s recommended that you leave the
battery charging for an additional 2-3 hours after the lights indicate it’s
fully charged (all 4 lights turn on when power button is pressed while case is
not connected to power source or iPhone). Drain the battery until only 1 light
turns on before charging again. That is one full cycle.
