Q: What
material is the EXPERT™ made of?
A: The EXPERT™ is made of synthetic
leather that makes it eco-friendly. The case is made through a dry process that
does not produce any VOC’s (Volatile Organic Compounds).
Q: How do
I install the EXPERT™ onto my iPad?
A: First, make
sure the back of your iPad is clean of dust or lint. Next, open up the two
halves of the EXPERT™ with the interior side face up. If new, peel off protective
film from the adhesive, Clean-Grip. Please keep the protective film for
protective purposes when Clean-Grip is not in use. If not new, then make sure
Clean-Grip is dry and clean of lint and dust. If needed, please see below for
cleaning instructions. Place your iPad face down on the half of the EXPERT™
without Clean-Grip. Take the other half of the EXPERT™ (with Clean-Grip) and fold
it towards the back of your iPad. Align the camera hole on the EXPERT™ with the
camera on your iPad and make sure your iPad is not crooked with respect to the
Expert. After making sure everything
has lined up, press down on the back of the EXPERT™ firm enough to
ensure maximum iPad contact with Clean-Grip.
Q: How
strong is Clean-Grip? Will it hold my iPad securely?
A: Clean-Grip has a shear strength
that can securely hold an object of up to 700 pounds in an upright position.
Weighing only around 1.44 pounds, your iPad is
definitely no challenge for Clean-Grip to hold
securely.
Q: Will
Clean-Grip leave residue on my iPad?
A: No, Clean-Grip is designed in a way
that will hold securely without leaving any residue on your iPad.
Q: Can I
remove my iPad after placing it in the case?
A: Yes, you can. As you peel off
Clean-Grip from your iPad, make sure not to over-bend the case. Extreme bending
will deform the case.
Q: If
Clean-Grip gets dirty, how can I clean it?
A: If there are particles stuck on
Clean-Grip, you can use scotch tape to clean them off. If scotch tape is
ineffective, you can wet the surface of Clean-Grip with lukewarm water to
deactivate adhesion and use your fingers or a wet lint-free cloth to gently
dislodge and wipe off any particles. Do NOT
use any object to dry off Clean-Grip. Once dry, the surface will
automatically become sticky again and will stick to anything used to dry it
off. Clean-Grip must be air-dried, and drying time will vary depending on
environment. Fanning can help hasten the drying process.
Q: If I
don’t plan on using the EXPERT™ for a few days, how do I store it?
A: It is good practice to keep
Clean-Grip covered by the original protective film it came with when not in
use. This will help keep Clean-Grip low maintenance by preventing particles
like dust or lint from landing on the surface.
